UPDATE JUNE 29, 2009......Writerspace Beach Party Contest Update
Thank you SO much to each and every one of you that joined me, or tried to, at the annual Writerspace Beach Party chat last evening! It was chaotic but a lot of fun.
Huge congratulations go out to Rebecca Elswick of Fredericksburg, Virginia! She was the winner of my prize, a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble and an autographed copy of SPINNING FORWARD as soon as it is released.

SPRING 2009 ~
I can hardly believe we're halfway through May already! It seems that since I signed my book contract with Kensington last year that things have moved along at a snails pace. But over the past few weeks, there's lots going on!
My latest update and very exciting news is that I was contacted by my editor and offered another contract with Kensington. I've been asked to write a novella in the next Christmas anthology headlined by Fern Michaels! (Zebra mass-market paperback, Nov 2010) It will be a contemporary story with a Christmas theme and it will tie in with my first two novels. Territory is World, all languages.
To say I'm "excited" is putting it mildly. This will be an amazing opportunity for me, and I'm deeply grateful to my editor and to Kensington for making this happen.
May has just been a month filled with wonderful news. I was also informed that book #2 will be released late October 2010, just before the Christmas anthology.
As if all of this isn't enough, I'm now on board with Nancy Berland Public Relations. I've been working closely with my personal publicist there and they have come up with some amazing ideas to promote my name and SPINNING FORWARD nationally.
As events progress, all of it will be shared here with you. Over the months ahead, be on the look-out for some innovative changes to both my author website and my monthly Newsletter. Lots of things in store, which will involve you, my very special readers.
I will be in Washington, DC in July attending the Romance Writers of America annual conference. That will certainly be an exciting time for me! And if you're planning to also be there, please do drop me an email so that we can make plans to meet in person. I love nothing more than meeting readers and other authors!
I wish all of you a Happy Spring. With so many good things going on in my writing career, I feel extremely blessed and all of the beauty of spring that surrounds me on Cedar Key only enhances my gratefulness.
